Commission Blueprint
There Is A Lot You Can Learn
For Free From Steven Clayton & Tim Godfrey
You came to my review page to get a review of the Commission Blueprint, but I want to give you a lot more. I not only want to give you the very best honest review of this product--I want to give you some useful information you can use today--for free!
If you're an affiliate marketer there are basically three things you need to have: 1.) a product to promote, 2.) a sales page to promote it with, and 3.) a method of driving traffic to your site to get your pitch across.
Finding products is easy. And, in spite of what your gut instinct may be, driving traffic to your site isn't really all that hard. But the biggest stumbling block for most affiliates is coming up with a winning sales or pre-sell page.
Let's look at it this way: The big guys can afford to shell out 5-10 thousand dollars to have one of the best copywriters in the world design a sales page for them. Face it, paying that kind of money for Steven Clayton and Tim Godfrey is chump change when you look at what it has done for them. At the bottom of the sales page for Commission Blueprint you see the company ExtremeWebGraphix.com. Now, I don't know if they wrote the copy or did the design and layout of the page--but whoever wrote the copy is a genius.
What I'd like to do is to critique the Commission Blueprint pitch page for you and give you some food for thought.
They start out with the bold statement, "Insider" Affiliate Strategy Manipulates Google To Generate $109,151 In 30 Days... From Just ONE Clickbank Product!!
Okay, now any Clickbank affiliate marketer out there is going to sit up and take notice. It's a wonderful header. I mean, who wouldn't like to make that kind of money selling just one product through Clickbank for thirty days. So, right off the bat they've got your attention and they've got it big time.
Now, admittedly, there is a ton of hype on this page, but ya know what? Steven Clayton and Tim Godfrey do one thing that I really like on their sales page--they actually tell you in detail exactly what the product is and what it will do for you.
Are you with me here? Look at the top 20 products in the Marketing & Ads section on Clickbank. Know what you'll find? The majority of the pitch pages never even give you a clue as to what the product is and what it does. They take an obfuscated and circuitous path promising you the world but never giving you a clue as to what the product really is--so, take away the hype and there's nothing but fluff and foam! Clickbank customers get tired of the hype--they are not dummies and the authors of these products shouldn't treat them as such.
But with Commission Blueprint Steven Clayton and Tim Godfrey actually tell you exactly what they are giving you down at the bottom of their pitch page where they talk about each of their videos. I think this is one reason why Commission Blueprint has such a high gravity and why that gravity has been holding steady for weeks. They tell you striaght up what they've got and leave it up to you whether it will benefit your work with Clickbank and AdWords.
Another Clickbank author who does this to his advantage is Rob Benwell. Rob is the author of Blogging To The Bank, and Blogging to the Bank 2.0. I have to give Rob credit, he tells you exactly what his product is and then he delivers--no, I'd say he over-delivers. I've got Rob's books and learned a tremendous amount from each of them.
And I'll tell you this about Rob Benwell, Steven Clayton, and Tim Godfrey--whatever their next product is I will buy it. And I will buy it without even paying much attention to their ads. I will buy their upcoming products based on the quality of their previous products. Call it customer loyalty I guess--but when someone over-delivers on a Clickbank product I take notice and I will buy again.
This works both ways. There are a number of Clickbank authors who can never count on me to buy another of their products. They give you all hype on their sales pages and then deliver a bunch of junk. Okay, I may get burned once, but not twice from the same guy. It just won't happen!
So let's look at a very powerful technique used on the Commission Blueprint pitch page. Look at the following sentence:
"Like everyone else, we were promised the same. The cars, the lifestyle, the vacations... and we dropped tens of thousands of dollars on crappy informational products in the hope of achieving the dream..."
Do you see what they are doing? They want you to feel that they were once where you are now--but they survived--no, they thrived. You see, the reader is saying, "Yeah, these guys did it but what I want to know is, "Can I do it?"
So they immediately tell you that they used to be like you! They were once in your shoes. But now they make over a million dollars a year and so can you. This is a powerful selling tool!
Another thing the copywriter did was to use very powerful catch phrases to get you hooked in:
The results are indisputable...
The proof is endless...
Create crazy affiliate paydays...
Hit the Clickbank sweet spot
Ya know, it's basic high school English--similies, metaphors, alliteration, personification, etc. Yikes, maybe I shouldn't have slept through so many of Ms. Tenney's 10th grade English classes!
But the success of this sales page is more than literary acrobatics; It involves very precise wording almost forcing you to buy.
We'll turn YOU into the next $6000/day super affiliate... and force you all the way to your first online million.
Look at the sentence above. They don't say that they will help you make a million dollars. They don't say that you might make a million dollars. They say they will FORCE you to make a million dollars. See what I mean. How you word something is much more important than just converying a simple idea.
So the point of this whole thing is simply that the Commission Blueprint has a terrific sales page. Study its structure and apply what you learn to your own sales or pre-sell page and profit!
